Overview
Commissioned by the Porto Cultural Foundation, the Cortén Pavilion hosts temporary exhibitions and public events. The building's weathering steel skin will oxidize over a 10-year cycle, turning the architecture itself into a living artwork. Interior light is controlled through a perforated ceiling system calibrated to the gallery's latitude.
